JOSEPH G. GORMAN, III

Since joining Max J. Derbes, Inc. in 2003, Joe has focused on expanding the Commercial Leasing and Sales Division for the firm and has been involved in numerous office and industrial transactions in the Greater New Orleans Area. His experience has been in representing national and local clients on both the tenant and landlord side, including corporate services and small businesses.

In 2004 and 2005 Joe served as a Director for the Commercial and Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Board of Realtors. He is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation and has completed CCIM Courses 101, 102 103, and 104. He is also a member of the Louisiana Realtors Association and the National Association of Realtors and has won the Outstanding Achievement Award for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Among his list of clients, Joe represents individual landlords in the selling and/or leasing of their property and has handled tenant representation for Chevron, Progressive Insurance, Honeywell, Cimarex Oil, Lucent Technologies, Dole Fresh Fruit, in addition to many others.

Prior to entering the real estate business, Joe spent years working his way through the Management Training Program of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. As a manager, Joe was responsible for opening several offices across Northern California for the company. Because of this experience, Joe has always been interested in office space and assisting companies as they grow and expand.

Joe is a native of Pasadena, California and a 1996 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder.
